Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands - West Coast Ireland

The most beautiful cliffs in the world

Castle ruins - what I find so beautiful  is that
the landscape around these treasures remains so untouched

I'm always too delighted to see farm animals or any animal in general - Aran islands

so remote and quiet, you can't even hear the birds

Not the Aran islands, but still gorgeous
got to see wild seals for the first time in my life! - off the coast of Inis Mor, one of the three Aran islands

Spent this past weekend in Galway city touring the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran islands. Unfortunately, the weekend ended up being super chilly and cloudy, but at least not rainy! The more I see of this island, I swear, the more I am coming to love nature and becoming awed by the its incredible beauty. Ireland may not have famous museums or landmark monuments to offer like most European countries, but the country remains so untouched. Farmers live side by side next to castle ruins from thousands of years ago and when you visit the churches and castles, you look out around the surrounding landscape and realize what you're seeing is actually very similar to what the inhabitants saw during their days. Me, being a medieval fanatic and all, find that notion so incredible.

Visit Ireland once in your lifetime, ladies and gents. It's one of the world's best kept secrets...
